Galerie Taménaga POP-UP @ Karuizawa

Reception Event: ““Karuizawa Soirée: Enjoying Nakagawa Wine” | Sunday, August 9, 13:00 – 18:00

Galerie Taménaga is pleased to announce a pop-up gallery in Karuizawa from Saturday, August 8 to Sunday, August 30. This exhibition will feature approximately 40 works, including new releases, by more than 15 artists, such as Tamihito Yoshikawa, Yurika Kinoshita, Maiko Kitagawa, and Naoya Egawa.

Under the theme “Enriching Moments with a Single Painting,” the “Galerie Taménaga POP-UP @ Karuizawa” originally launched in the summer of 2022. It was highly acclaimed and welcomed many visitors, but was unfortunately forced to suspend operations due to the demolition of the building in 2024. However, in response to many requests, the pop-up is making its return after three years at a new location: FLEX Karuizawa (Ropponstuji Roundabout), situated very close to the previous venue.

A reception event “Karuizawa Soirée: Enjoying Nakagawa Wine” will be held on Sunday, August 9, from 13:00 to 18:00. Visitors can enjoy fine wines provided by Nakagawa Wine while surrounded by exceptional artworks.

The venue is located at FLEX Karuizawa (Ropponstuji Roundabout), approximately a 5-minute drive or a 14-minute walk from JR Karuizawa Station. We look forward to welcoming you if you visit Karuizawa this summer.
