Galerie Tamenaga Osaka is pleased to present “FIGURES”, an exhibition dedicated to portraiture, from Saturday, September 27 to Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Focusing on portraiture and the human figure from the 20th century onward, the exhibition features approximately 30 works by 20 artists. Highlights include masterpieces by modern painters such as Kees Van Dongen, Pierre Bonnard, Georges Rouault, Jules Pascin, and Tsuguharu Foujita, alongside works by contemporary artists including Jean-Pierre Cassigneul, Paul Aïzpiri, and Lorenzo Fernández.
We hope this exhibition offers an opportunity to rediscover the enduring appeal of figurative art.
